Fuming Acid Spill Mitigation Workshop<\/h3>\n

June 2028<\/em><\/h4>\n

Our hands-on Spill Mitigation Workshops are held near Las Vegas, Nevada, every three years. The next one is currently scheduled for June 2028. Attendees are able to witness fuming sulfuric acid spills in a safe, controlled environment and are taught how to mitigate, decontaminate and neutralize accidental releases. The training enhances emergency preparedness and consists of 12 hours of classroom training and 10+ hours of field work and meets the requirements for two Continuing Education Units (CEUs).<\/p>\n

Fuming Acid Safety and Technology Symposium <\/h3>\n

Date: TBD<\/em><\/h4>\n

The Fuming Sulfuric Acid Safety and Technology Symposium covers SO3, Oleum and Chlorosulfonic acids.\u00a0 Date and location is currently TBD.\u00a0 The event will cover fuming sulfuric acid properties, PPE, emergency response, and transportation and technical information. The training is critical for those who handle and consume fuming sulfuric acids; as well as first responders, local emergency planning committee members and other HazMat groups that need a baseline knowledge of these materials and how they should be handled. We will post the next seminar details here as soon as it is scheduled.
